About the Author
Sheikh Humud ibn Abdullah al-Tuwaijri (1916-1992) was a prominent Saudi Arabian scholar known for his unwavering defense of traditional Islamic beliefs and practices. Born in Majma'ah in the Najd region, he memorized the Quran by age eleven and studied under notable scholars including Sheikh Abdullah al-Anqari and Sheikh Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Humayd.
Despite serving briefly as a judge, Sheikh al-Tuwaijri dedicated most of his life to scholarship, authoring over 40 books defending traditional Islamic positions. This particular work, completed in 1963 (1383 AH), exemplifies his commitment to preserving classical Islamic teachings on social relationships.
